VEHICLE REGISTRATION TAX - ( VRT )

This system provides the Open Market Selling Price (OMSP) as determined by Revenue for VRT purposes and the amount of VRT payable in respect of vehicles that are held on the Revenue Commissioners database. Please note that the Revenue Database does not hold details of Makes / Models / CO2 Emissions of vehicles that have not previously been presented for valuation. VRT may be chargeable on any extras fitted to a vehicle.

Please note: Selecting details not matching your vehicle will give an incorrect calculation of VRT.

The Export Repayment Scheme calculator provides an approximation only of the VRT that may be repayable as a vehicle may already have been the subject of VRT remissions/repayments. In order to qualify for a repayment, the vehicle must, amongst other things, have a value (OMSP) as determined by Revenue for VRT purposes of at least €2,000. An administrative charge of €500 will be charged. NCTS fees will also apply.
